Tires & Inner Tubes

All tires listed below have a "ribbed" thread pattern and a "flat" profile with the exception of the W760 and W768 which have a "round" profile. The QuickSilver Standard (factory) 5" tires are the 4 ply on the mains and 2 ply on the nose if the aircraft has a "factory" steerable nose wheel. The 2 ply tires are fine on grass operations wheras the 4 ply should be used on hard surfaces (asphalt or concrete).

The balloon tire (W768) is a good choice for very ruff or sandy (beach) terrain.

All our inner tubes have a 90 degree bent valve stem for easy access and are heavier gauge than the "standard".
